European Festival at Swangard Stadium

A trip to Europe a bit out of your reach these days? Try heading to Swangard Stadium this Saturday (May 26) instead, for the 15th annual European Festival, where performers, cultural displays, and food from 29 countries will be highlighted. Forget long train rides or air travel; just hop from booth to booth for a taste of cultures as diverse as French, Serbian, English, and Russian. There are plenty of kids’ activities too, and little ones are encouraged to collect stamps from all the participating nations. Best of all? Two words: beer garden.
