FUSE at the Vancouver Art Gallery

TheVancouver Art Gallery becomes party central on Friday night (November 9) for its next FUSE event, an interdisciplinary extravaganza inspired by Ian Wallace’s My Heroes in the Streets. Music and performance will take place throughout the space. This rendition’s special guests include contemporary-dance talents Justine Chambers and MACHiNENOiSY; performance collective COaT (Centre of a Tangle), and indie-rock band In Medias Res. They’ll spread out between the Rotunda and rooftop pavilion. And of course, don’t forget to check out the two big exhibitions on show: Ian Wallace: At the Intersection between Painting and Photography exhibition and Traffic: Conceptual Art in Canada 1965–1980.
