We can’t think of any event this week more well-suited to summertime heat than the Harpa Bossa jazz concert at MusicFest on Monday (August 13) at 5:30 p.m. There, singer and harp virtuoso Cristina Braga brings a little tropical beach to the Christ Church Cathedral, resurrecting the bossa nova hits of Tom Jobim and Luiz Bonfá. Pushing the temperature higher are bassist Ricardo Medeiros and percussion virtuoso Sal Ferreras. Don’t be surprised to find yourself craving a caipirhina afterward.
