If you’ve ever wondered what really happened at the inn that Holy Night and why a guy would turn away a poor pregnant lady from his establishment, check out Ruby Slippers’ Hotel Bethlehem. Our reviewer said of playwright Drew McCreadie’s script: “The guy’s got a Gatling gun stuffed with jokes and gags, and he just keeps firing.” The premise is silly, but this is a serious cast: Stephen Beaver, Scott Bellis, Tim Carlson, Alex Diakun, Dustin Freeland, Jennifer Mawhinney, Sean McQuillan, John Murphy, Byron Noble, Kris Novak, and Alvin Sanders. The fun runs at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts till Saturday (December 15) and from Tuesday to next Sunday (December 18 to 23) at the Firehall Arts Centre.
