Jayson McDonald's Underbelly nabs Georgia Straight Critics' Choice Award

Jayson McDonald pleased the critics with his Underbelly at the Vancouver International Fringe Festival.

The guy who featured on the cover of the Georgia Straight Vancouver International Fringe Festival issue won a top critics' prize at the event.

At the fest's wrap-up ceremony Sunday night, Jayson McDonald took home the Georgia Straight Critics' Choice Award for his William S. Burroughs-inspired show Underbelly.

Other nominees were The Bike Trip, Fear Factor: Canine Edition, Fishbowl, and Weak Sauce.
