Richard Henriquez's Narrative Fragments at Winsor Gallery

Comments

His unique fingerprint can be felt across the city, but acclaimed architect Richard Henriquez, founding partner of Vancouver’s Henriquez Partners Architects, is more than a one-trick pony. In addition to creating stunning structures—including UBC’s Michael Smith Building and the Justice Institute—Henriquez also maintains an artistic practice. Running through June 30 at the Winsor Gallery will be an exhibit of new works by Henriquez entitled Narrative Fragments, including two-dimensional lightboxes, a sculptural installation, and several pieces built from surveyors’ tripods, which the artist collects.
