Robert Lepage's remaining performances of Far Side of the Moon to go on as scheduled

Though CUPE strike action forced the cancellation of Robert Lepage’s Far Side of the Moon over the weekend, SFU Woodward’s has just announced the remaining shows from tonight (November 6) to November 10 should run as scheduled.

A posting on the event site, read “we expect no future labour action to affect these performances.”

It’s good news for the show, which was to feature Lepage himself in the role; until now it has been played by Yves Jacques. A key worry was tomorrow (November 7), when the union has announced that pickets will be set up at the campus from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.

SFU Woodward’s is offering full refunds to those who missed the weekend shows via The Cultch box office (604-251-1363).
