Vancouver International Busker Festival brings top-notch street entertainers to city streets

Comments

Now that the sun’s here at last, it’s time to celebrate summer in the city with dancing, music, juggling, and clowning in the street. The first Vancouver International Busker Festival brings top-notch street entertainers from B.C. and around the world to our city, and takes place daily in six central Vancouver locations: Granville Island, Gastown, Canada Place, downtown Granville Street, and evenings in the West End, on Robson and Davie streets. The festival runs until Sunday (July 15). The VIBF is an idea that’s long overdue, and it looks like the weather gods will smile on its first incarnation.
