Alex Jones goes nuclear on Piers Morgan

Alex Jones inched a little closer to the full blown psychotic break we've all been waiting for on CNN's Piers Morgan show yesterday.

The tubby Baron of Conspiritainment emerged from his well-stocked bunker over at Prison Planet to give Morgan's mainstream viewership a good yelling at.

Hardly unusual for the permanently apoplectic Jones, but even Morgan is taken aback by how quickly he goes from zero to DON'T TAKE MY GUNS!!! I half expected him to blow Morgan's head off at one point.

Jones was invited onto the show after he created a petition to have Morgan deported over his objection to the Second Amendment. His argument, as far as I can tell, is that gun control won't stop crazy people from cutting down masses of people in a hail of semi-automatic knives or maybe rocks.

Is Alex Jones mentally disturbed, or is he a good actor?

Given the source of his income (radio, television, the net), I suspect the latter. But then, I never believed a gob of spittle that dripped from Glen Beck's mouth either. The dumber they appear, the more likely it is that they are simply con artists.

Not that it will matter when a drunk driver t-bones Mr. Jones' limo on the way to another interview, and he ascends to the very heavily-guarded Pearly Gates.
