Sometimes with dance, words just can't quite do it justice. It's a case of seeing is believing.

Such is the case with Seattle troupe zoe/juniper's A Crack in Everything, which debuts at the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival this Tuesday and Wednesday (January 15 and 16).

What sets the company apart is its wild melding of visual media spectacle and choreography. Here's a clip that captures the surreal world the show creates, complete with gold-foiled dancers, shiny reflective floors, dreamlike scrims, and flashing lights.

Here's hoping you'll get a chance to visit their strange universe at the fest.
