The Vancouver Canucks have released their abbreviated 2013 National Hockey League schedule. The team will play 48 games against Western Conference opponents starting with three straight at Rogers Arena—Saturday (January 19) versus Anaheim, next Sunday (January 20) against Edmonton, and January 23 when Calgary comes to town.

The regular season ends on Saturday April 27 with a game in Edmonton.

Among the featured games on home ice: the Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings make their only visit on March 2, while the Canucks renew their rivalry with Chicago on April 22.

As far as nationally televised games go, the Canucks will be featured on Hockey Night in Canada eight times and on TSN on six other occasions.

The Canucks open their training camp today (January 13) at 3p.m. at Rogers Arena. The club will skate Monday and Tuesday mornings and scrimmage Wednesday and Thursday nights.

All on-ice workouts are open to the public free of charge, although tickets are required for the 6:30 p.m. scrimmages. Ticket details, full camp rosters and times along with the team’s full 2013 schedule are available at Canucks.com.
