Live Nation has announced that American psychedelic rock group the Black Angels will play a show--with guests Hanni El-Khatib and Wall of Death--at the Commodore Ballroom on Tuesday, May 14, in support of its upcoming album, Indigo Meadow.

Consisting of Christian Bland (guitar, drone machine/organ), Alex Maas (vocals, bass, organ, drone machine), Stephanie Bailey (drums, percussion), and Kyle Hunt (keyboards, percussion, bass, guitar), the Austin, Texas-based group is set to release its fourth full-length album, following 2010's acclaimed Phosphene Dream.

Founded in 2004, the Black Angels has been at the fore of the post-millennial psychedelic movement and is hailed for its monumental live sets.

Tickets for the show are priced at $22 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (January 25) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.

Tickets are also available for purchase by phone at 1-855-985-5000, at Red Cat Records, and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
