      Picket line coming to B.C. Place  The B.C. Government and Service Employees' Union has announced that job action will begin at 9:15 this morning at B.C. Place after it failed to reach a contract with PAVCO, which manages the building.

      New rental housing being created  Mayor Gregor Robertson has announced that 1,021 rental units were approved in Vancouver in 2012, up from an average of 328 in 2010 and 2011, and zero in 2008 and 2009.

      Poll reveals desire for change for Natives  A Nanos poll for CBC News has revealed that 56.4 percent of Canadians feel there's an urgent or somewhat urgent need for the federal government to change its policies for dealing with First Nations. More details are available here.

      Delta Police say package not explosive  B.C. Ferries cancelled two sailings on Sunday after a suspicious package was found. Delta Police later reported that it did not contain explosives.
