A taste of the 2013 Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival

The 16th annual Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival is just over a week away and to whet your appetite, here's the trailer for the 2013 edition of the festival (running from February 8 to 17) which was recently released online.

It's rife with gorgeous cinematography, jaw-dropping stunts, and stunning views that most of us never get the chance to see in real life. Sigh.

If this doesn't make you want to head outdoors and throw yourself about in the wilderness, I'm not certain what would. (Then again, some of the riskier stuff looks like it's best watched from the safety and comfort of a movie theatre seat. Well, that's my vote anyhow.)
