Vancouver Vegan Prom to party at WISE Hall on March 9

Do you like eating plants and dressing up as a superhero? The Vancouver Vegan Prom may be just your kind of party.

The second such prom will swoop into WISE Hall (1882 Adanac Street) on March 9. The theme is superheroes, and it’s not just for vegans and young people. Everyone 19 and older is being invited to partake in the dancing, music, food, and prizes.

Around 130 people showed up in November 2011 for the first-ever Vancouver Vegan Prom, which was also held at WISE Hall. This year, the event starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $18 and are available online. They’ll also be sold at a few vegan businesses around town.
