Beautiful time-lapse tribute to the Ridge Theatre
I watched a total of one film at the Ridge Theatre (Fidel a decade ago), not nearly enough to get attached to the place. To many others in Vancouver, however, the historic movie house was a key part of their cultural scene.
They packed the Ridge's final screenings, before the theatre closed for good on February 3. Local filmmaker and photographer Katie Yu captured these last days with this nicely done time-lapse video.
