The Dance Centre’s Global Dance Connections series presents two of Canada’s most exciting dancers: Su-Feh Lee of Vancouver’s battery opera and Benoit Lachambre of Montreal’s Par B.L.eux in Body-Scan: Sweet Gyre. This dance performance takes place at the Scotiabank Dance Centre (677 Davie Street) from Thursday to Saturday (February 14 to 16) at 8 p.m.

Body-Scan: Sweet Gyre is a bold new work that grew out of 2008’s Body-Scan, a piece created by Lee and Lachambre that featured six dancers. The new piece explores the human body, magnifying senses, and questioning the sustainability of the human body.

Tickets to Body-Scan: Sweet Gyre are $30 for adults and $22 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling Tickets Tonight at 604-684-2787.
