The Georgia Straight proudly sponsors the 2013 Wearable Art Awards

The Port Moody Art Centre presents the 2013 Wearable Art Awards, which takes place at the Port Moody City Hall Galleria (100 Newport Drive, Port Moody) on Saturday (February 16) at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday (February 17) at 6:30 p.m.

The is the 10^th anniversary for the popular fashion and arts show, and this year’s awards will feature 70 garments from local and international artists, including those from Germany, Israel, and Australia. Entries include pieces made with glass, welded steel, and pop cans.

Tickets to the 2013 Wearable Art Awards are $25 for adults and $10 for youth. Tickets can be purchased by phone at 604-931-2008 or in person at 2425 St. Johns Street.
