Nü Sensae's Daniel Pitout may be single—but probably not for long.

The drummer of the Vancouver-based punk band (described by the Georgia Straight's John Lucas as "playing with a level of intensity verging on the terrifying") has been named one of Out magazine's 100 Most Eligible Bachelors in their third annual list.

He's up against stiff (sorry) competition, including other musicians such as rapper Le1f, Bloc Party's Kele Okereke, Mika, Juahn Cabrera, Gavion Creele, and Vampire Weekend's Rostam Batmanglij. He's also up against big names like Chris Colfer, Tim Gunn, Perez Hilton, and Omar Sharif Jr., not to mention Canadian celebrities like actor Luke Macfarlane and director Xavier Dolan.

Readers can vote for the guys they'd most like to date and polls will remain open throughout March (Colfer is in the lead after the first week of voting).

And boys, if you want to ask Pitout on a date before the masses get to him, the magazine recommends following him on Twitter.
