Baba Brinkman pens a musical tribute to his mom, Liberal leadership candidate Joyce Murray

Rapper Baba Brinkman has written a song called "Cooperation Time" endorsing his mother Joyce Murray's bid for leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada.

The song pays homage to the Vancouver-Quadra MP's call for cooperation with the Greens and the NDP at the riding level to defeat the Stephen Harper–led Conservative government.

Brinkman sent an email out this afternoon mentioning that he's also working on a music video—and he needs clips of Canadians singing the chorus.

He also revealed that he donated $1,200 (the limit) to his mother's campaign.

Yesterday, Murray's campaign received another boost when she was endorsed by environmentalist David Suzuki.
