Oscar 2013's first upset comes early
Christophe Waltz just walked off with the first award of the night, the best suporting actor Oscar for his role as Dr. King Schulze in Django Unchained.
Most pundits were thinking sentimenatilty would secure a win for either Robert DeNiro (Silver Linings Playbook) or Alan Arkin (Argo), but nope!
As our friends at the CineFileBlog tweeted, "Ths means anything could happen tonight."
Waltz also won for his first collaboration with Quentin Tarantino, in 2010's Inglorious Basterds. Here's our interview with the Austrian actor.
