AC/DC says "Have a Drink On Me" with its own beer (not available in Canada)
Listening to AC/DC and drinking beer have always gone together like AC/DC & beer, but now those two most honourable of pursuits are even more connected. Grab your red vinyl copy of Powerage (you're not borrowing mine), crank 'er up, and start pounding back cans of new AC/DC Beer!
Ya gotta go to Germany to get it first, though.
Following in the footsteps of Motorhead--who recently launched their own Bastards Lager--everybody's fave Aussie earbusters have their own giggle water, but it's made in Germany and not available in North America yet. According to the brewski's website, it's "THE BEER FOR REAL ROCKERS".
The rest of the product description doesn't translate quite so well:
"When it comes to rock right, the right beer belongs to AC/DC, the hard rock legends from Down Under, is the perfect namesake for just such a beer... AC/DC Premium Beer is 568 ml authentic German premium full-bodied beer with 5% alcohol by volume. The 5-liter keg of beers is the roadie for the rock group of friends. Ignites on the tongue like a ton of TNT... Brewed in the sense of rock 'n' roll bid of 1973 and according to the German Purity Law of 1516."
Maybe the marketing department should have used a more universal language to get the point across. Like this:
