A special double-bill concert featuring Cape Breton’s Mary Jane Lamond & Wendy MacIsaac with Scotland’s Maeve Mackinnon takes place during the ninth annual CelticFest Vancouver on March 14 at 8 p.m. at the Vogue Theatre (918 Granville Street).

Mackinnon is an award-winning Gaelic singer, who was twice nominated for Scotland’s “Gaelic Singer of the Year” award. Her stunning voice will be accompanied by Ross Martin on guitar and Brian McAlpine on piano and accordion. The second half of the concert will feature Lamond on voice and MacIsaac on fiddle.

Tickets are $30 in advance and can be purchased online or $35 at the door.
