When I was a young lad, I and everyone I knew loved playing Super Mario Bros. At the time, there didn't seem to be anything wrong about Mario and Luigi going off to rescue Princess Toadstool in almost every game.

Today, there's much more awareness about sexist representations in games, though they remain pervasive.
