Canadian actors flip the script on gender roles in film and TV

Imagine if women were limited to the roles they are in the movies and TV shows (and video games)? There'd be little to celebrate today (March 8).

The Toronto ACTRA Women's Committee released this video to mark International Women's Day. In it, many actors, including Tantoo Cardinal and Grace Lynn Kung, take on the entertainment industry for not representing the diversity of women.

They say it's time for women to tell their own amazing stories on screen.
