Justin Bieber flying the red flag in Portugal

      Can you say “downward spiral?”

Canadian pop star baby-diva Justin Bieber is turning out to be more of a rock star than ever anticipated.

The 19-year-old is capping off an epic week in England, which found him alienating his fans by turning up two hours late to a show, then denying it, losing his shit at the paparazzi, and getting himself and his entire entourage thrown out of a London nightclub on his birthday.

Also, he walked off stage in the middle of another concert to receive oxygen and “treatment” before passing out and getting admitted to the hospital.

Classic. If you ask me Biebs is finally getting interesting.

Next on the fast-becoming-a-train-wreck-that-was-the-Justin-Bieber-show, he has cancelled the second of his Lisbon, Portugal concerts, stating the ever-dependable and vague “unforeseen circumstances”.

A Portugal newspaper is reporting, however, that ticket sales were insufficient to go on with the show. Is Lisbon the litmus test of Bieber-mania, the canary in the mineshaft?

Maybe the world will finally give its collective head a shake and realize that the child-god it has been worshipping for half a decade might be going the way of the Winehouse.

Hospital visits, stage walk-offs, and paparazzi freak-outs are textbook meltdown warning signs, and now a shadowy show cancellation.

Fans and promoters may tell themselves and each other that every young star has a right to a bit of exhaustion, but the guy’s 19 years old, in the prime of his life. If he can’t handle a bit of excessive partying at 19, when can he?

Where will Jay Bee be at 25? The real question is: will he be?
