The Georgia Straight presents the Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival at Deer Lake Park

Good news for summer music festival fans: the Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival is returning to Deer Lake Park for its fourteenth year on Saturday, August 10, 2013. 

Expanding to three stages this year, performers at the all-ages outdoor festival include Blue Rodeo, Charles Bradley, ZZ Ward, Shakura S’Aida, Ndidi Onukwulu, David Gogo, Jon and Roy, the Sojourners, John Lee Sanders, Vince Vaccaro, Brickhouse, and Shaun Verreault. This will mark Blue Rodeo’s first appearance at the festival.

Earlybird tickets for the festival are currently on sale on the festival website (available at a discounted price until July 1) and are priced at $65 each (plus service charges and fees), with 4-packs at $180 (plus service charges and fees).
