Vancouver as seen from the International Space Station

Canada's tweeting astronaut, Chris Hadfield, posted this photo of the Vancouver area just a few hours ago. That dark, egg-shaped patch is Burns Bog.

Hadfield wrote: "Vancouver basking in the sunshine, from North Van to Tsawwassen, with the Fraser river discharging sediment."
