Canadian actor Cory Monteith has reportedly checked into a rehabillitation program.
According to People magazine, the 30-year-old Calgary-born, Victoria-raised actor best known for his role as Finn Hudson on the television series Glee, "has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction". This is Monteith's second time in rehab.
Monteith began his acting career in Vancouver after being cast in Final Destination 3. He has also appeared in Vancouver-filmed TV shows, such as Smallville, Supernatural, and Stargate Atlantis.
In 2011, Monteith was the grand marshal of the Grey Cup parade in Vancouver. Earlier this year, he was one of several local artists to call on fans to sign a petition to save Vancouver's Waldorf Hotel.
