On July 1, free summer festival Canada Day returns to London's Trafalgar Square for a celebration featuring food, family-friendly activities, and some of Canada's best musical talent.

Participating artists include Canadian-music legends Jann Arden, Arkells, and the Tragically Hip. Other highlights include a lululemon yoga class, face painting for the kids, appearances by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the inaugural Taste of Canada culinary program.

Canadian High Commissioner to the U.K. Gordon Campbell said that "Canada's relationship with the U.K. is deeply rooted in our common history and shared values. We look forward to welcoming all Canadians, Londoners, and visitors from around the world to celebrate with us as we commemorate the British North America Act of 1867 otherwise known as Canada Day."
