      The Vancouver International Children’s Festival presents Sheryl Feinstein as the second speaker in its 2013 PEP Talks Series. The teacher, author, and consultant will speak about “Parenting the Adolescent Brain” at the Vancouver Playhouse (600 Hamilton Street) on Wednesday (April 10) at 7:30 p.m.

      Feinstein is a professor and chair of the education department at South Dakota’s Augustana College. She is also a consultant at a correctional facility for teenage boys and emotionally behaviourally disturbed teens.

      Feinstein is the author of Secrets of the Teenage Brain, Parenting the Teenage Brain: Understanding a Work in Progress, and Teaching the At-Risk Teenage Brain.

      Tickets are $43.45 and can be purchased online in advance.
