      Home prices zig-zag  The B.C. Real Estate Association has reported that the average multiple-listing-service price was up two percent in March from February, reaching $540,662. But it's down one percent from March 2012.

      Sewage spills into Coquitlam creek  A broken pipe has resulted in sewage pouring into Scott Creek, a tributary of the fish-bearing Coquitlam River.

      Christy Clark's broadcast  The B.C. Liberals spent an estimated $100,000 on a TV broadcast last night highlighting Premier Christy Clark. It featured endorsements from former NHL player Dave Babych and former federal Conservative cabinet minister Stockwell Day.

      Earthquake on Haida Gwaii  Tremors continue to rattle the Haida Gwaii region off B.C.'s north coast after last fall's 7.7 Richter scale earthquake. The latest measured 4.5 and occurred yesterday afternoon.

      Conservatives target Justin Trudeau  Papineau MP Justin Trudeau won a landslide victory over his rivals in the Liberal leadership race, setting up a showdown today with Prime Minister Stephen Harper in Parliament. Meanwhile, the Conservatives will launch new ads claiming that Trudeau is "in way over his head". 

      Chavez's successor wins presidency  Former union negotiator Nicolas Maduro says he'll continue Hugo Chavez's Bolivarian Revolution after narrowly winning Venezuela's presidential election with 50.6 percent of votes. His more conservative opponent, Henrique Capriles, has demanded a recount.

      North Korea marks dictator's birthday  Celebrations are taking place across North Korea to commemorate the birthday of former dictator Kim Il-Sung, grandfather of current leader Kim Jong-un.

      Mubarak court ruling  According to a BBC report, an Egyptian court has ruled that former dictator Hosni Mubarak cannot be detained in connection with the death of protesters who tried to force him out of power. The 84-year-old will stay behind bars to face separate charges of corruption.

      Canucks take on Predators  The Canucks have lost three of their last four games on the road. But coach Alain Vigneault hopes that moving Ryan Kesler from centre to left wing will help the team tonight against the Nashville Predators.

      Justin Bieber changes the topic  After getting ripped in the media yesterday for suggesting that diarist and Nazi murder victim Anne Frank could have been a "Belieber", pop singer Justin Bieber has released pictures of himself not wearing a shirt.
