Tonight's ticket: Make It! Vancouver

What: Make It! Vancouver, an annual one-of-a-kind indie craft fair, featuring over 140 vendors offering up all kinds of handmade wares from clothing and jewellery to body care products and yummy noms.

There's also live music to soothe the savage shopper, a licensed bar, and a draw to win over $300 worth of goodies from Make It! vendors.

When: April 19 (4 to 9 p.m.), April 20 (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.), and April 21 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

Where: The Croatian Cultural Centre (3250 Commercial Drive)

How much: $5 at the door, and your pass is good all three days.

Why: Because supporting independent artisans, crafters, designers, and dreamers is awesome.
