Globetrotters Deflated Over Theft of Big G

Vancouver – Police are searching for Big G, the Harlem Globetrotters’ ten-foot inflatable mascot, which was stolen from their tour bus on Monday night.

Around 4 p.m. on Monday, Big G was safely tucked in his case in the luggage compartment of the team’s tour bus, parked at West Hastings and Seymour Street. When the team returned to the bus early Tuesday morning, they discovered that Big G, his battery pack and the teams’ sound mixer had been stolen.

Somewhat deflated without Big G, the Globetrotters will continue to amaze basketball fans with their athleticism, theatre and comedy.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Big G is asked to call the Vancouver Police at (604) 717-3321 or Crime Stoppers.
