      The Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival takes place February 13 to 21 at various venues across the Lower Mainland. Screenings take place at North Vancouver’s Centennial Theatre, the Cinematheque, Rio Theatre, and St. Mark’s Anglican Church.

      The 18th annual festival will also join forces with North Shore Rescue in celebrating their 50th anniversary and Tim Jones. On February 13, a screening of Risk and Rescue by local director Melanie Wood will be screened during the opening gala.

      The festival will feature 65 films over nine days, including three world premieres and 14 North American premieres.
