      BlueShore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts hosts A Tribute to Motown.

       

      BENEFITS

      Steveston venue Buck & Ear Bar & Grill hosts a Beatles Sing-Along, with proceeds going to the Richmond Women’s Resource Centre.

       

      EVENTS ETC

      The Croatian Cultural Centre hosts over 175 tables and booths at the Retro Design & Antiques Fair.

       

      ARTS ETC

      Prague-born performer Tomáš Kubínek (pictured above) takes the stage at the Evergreen Cultural Centre.

       

      MUSIC

      The Vancouver Recital Society presents classical pianist Steven Osborne at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts.

      At the First United Church, the Bergmann Piano Duo performs music by Gershwin and Bergmann.

      Bramwell Tovey conducts the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in a performance of works by John Oswald, Nicole Lizee, Andre Previn, Jacqueline Leggatt, Zosha Di Castri, and Poul Ruders. Held at the Orpheum Annex.

       

      THEATRE

      The Arts Club Theatre Company production of One Man, Two Guvnors has its last show at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage.

       

      MOVIES

      The Kay Meek Centre screens Pride, which tells the story of an unlikely response to Margaret Thatcher's iron-fisted rule of 1980s Great Britain.
