While Google has added a Pride Month surprise for LGBT–related web searches, Facebook is showing its support for queer Pride as well in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court's rulings on Prop 8 and DOMA.

If you're feeling Pride and want to show it to all your Facebook friends, or want to show your support of queer rights, here's what you can do:

      1. Write a new status.
      2. Click on the Emoticon option (in the bar below the status field) and choose "feeling".
      3. Type in "pride" after Feeling.
      4. The Pride rainbow will be added to your status.

And according to Facebook statistics, approximately 70 percent of U.S. citizens are connected to someone who is gay, lesbian, or bisexual. So you can certainly expect to be seeing alot of this rainbow the next time you log on to FB.
