Thank you Frank Zappa for the shortage of Jeb Bush wedding pics

I normally try to avoid mentioning Jeb Bush at all costs because it pains me to think about all the suffering his big brother caused. But today I'm gonna mention him anyway.

Six hours or so ago the potential presidential candidate--man, it hurts to think about that too!--marked the 41st anniversary of his marriage by posting a wedding photo on Facebook. Bush explains that it's the sole image from the event, and it turns out that music legend Frank Zappa is to blame for the lack of mementoes. Well, Zappa and Jeb's numbskull brother. Not Dubya--the other numbskull, Marvin.

Happy anniversary to my beautiful wife of 41 years, Columba. True story: This is the only picture from our wedding. The photographer, my brother Marvin, accidentally rerolled from a Frank Zappa concert. Thankfully, my mom took one photo with a Kodak.

More about the ramifications of this unplanned Zappa-tack--which would have surely humoured the warmonger-hating rock genius--comes via the memoir My Father, My President, written by Bush sister Dorothy Bush Koch. The website www.vox.com shared an excerpt from it today:

I guess the only way to follow that is with this:

We'll never forget you Frank! And thanks again for that warning about the yellow snow!
