      Who needs Ryan Miller?

That's what Canucks fans might be thinking after backup Eddie Lack turned aside 40 shots in a 2-1 win in Boston.

Tonight, Lack turned aside all 13 shots fired at him during Bruins' power plays. One of them came when the goalie tripped the widely loathed Brad Marchand late in the second period.

Marchand ended the game with a double minor for roughing Derek Dorsett, who received a single roughing penalty.

And much to the delight of Canucks fans, Zack Kassian scored another clutch goal—the game winner—at 6:47 of the third period, assisted by the Sedin twins.

It was Kassian's fourth goal in three games and his ninth of the season.

Things looked grim at the start of the game when Daniel Paille put the Bruins on the scoresheet at 1:05 of the first period.

But just over two minutes later, Ryan Stanton tied the game.

The Bruins are known to play rough, but there were no penalties in the first period.

The Canucks' penalty-killing squad was effective again, not allowing any goals on four minors in the second and third periods.

It's the third Canucks victory in four games in their current eastern road trip. They play next in Buffalo on Thursday (February 26).

Miller is one of seven Canucks on the injury list. Chris Tanev, Kevin Bieksa, Alex Edler, Alex Burrows, Brad Richardson, and Frank Corrado are also out of commission.
