Don't have any plans for Saturday? You do now.

Vancouver Pride presents the annual Gay Day at Playland, which kicks off at noon on July 13 and runs until 8 p.m.

Even if you're not into rides, or if the Hellavator and old wooden rollercoaster freak you out just by thinking about it, you can still have fun.

This year, the Free Zone will be located outside the amusement park gates so that attendees can enjoy a barbecue and beer garden, without having to pay admission for the park.

And there'll also be a showcase of absolutely fabulous performers to keep you entertained.

The Queentastic Legends show, hosted by the ever-dragtastic Symone!, will feature an extensive lineup that boasts the Carnival Band, Eleanor Rigby: The Untold Story, The Bobbers, Della Devine, Kikki, Peach Cobblah, Sienna Blaze, Pussy Willow, Isolde N'Barron, Afrodesia, and many more.

As for the dress code, wear pink shirts to support anti-bullying.

Tickets can be purchased online (proceeds support the Vancouver Pride Society).
