Cuteness of the day: Year of the Sheep, Goat...or Rhino?

    1 of 6 2 of 6

Depending on who you ask or what country you're in, it's either the Year of the Sheep, Goat, or Ram according to the lunar calendar.

However, things could get more confusing if you took your cues from the following animals, who can't seem to figure out what year it is either. Or what species they actually are.

Take for instance this pet lamb named Pet in the Scottish Highlands . The farm owners moved her in with border collies after she was struggling to survive after her birth. The dogs adopted her and Pet has wound up behaving just like a dog does.

She wags her tail, and bounces around while playing with the dogs.

So is Pet a sheep dog? Or a dog sheep?

Meanwhile, here's a wild deer in Suffolk, England, who lost its herd. It joined a flock of sheep, who adopted it as one of its own.

But hold on—it's not just deer who want to be sheep. This baby rhino in South Africa does too. Rather adorably, it doesn't seem quite able to master the sheep's movements all that well.

In other news, here's a video of a rescued elephant calf who became best friends with a sheep showing that friendship can overcome differences. (Awwww.)

Yet the question remains: Is it the Year of the Sheep, Goat, Ram, Dog, Deer, Rhino, or Elephant?

Then again, we're in Canada, where basically anything goes...
