Comic-Con video pays tribute to fallen Game of Thrones characters

This past weekend, San Diego was awash in geeks and nerds as Comic-Con took over the local convention centre. 

And, as in previous years, the Game of Thrones panel was a highlight of the convention. In addition to sharing tidbits about the upcoming season (not due to hit the small screen until 2014), the panel also shared the above video.

Set to Boyz II Men's high-scool-dance classic "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday", the clip remembers characters that have passed on, from notables Ned Stark and Khal Drogo to the multitude of anonymous soldiers that perished during the Battle of the Blackwater.

I guess nobody remembered what to say to the god of death.
