      Early Music Vancouver presents an evening celebrating the music of Handel in G.F. Handel: Israel in Egypt. The performance will take place at UBC’s Chan Centre for the Performing Arts (6265 Crescent Road) on August 7 at 7:30 p.m.

      G.F. Handel: Israel in Egypt will be performed by Vancouver’s Pacific Baroque Orchestra led by maestro Alexander Weimann.

      The performance will also feature sopranos Suzie Le Blanc and Shannon Mercer, altos Reginald L. Mobley and Laura Pudwell, tenors Colin Balzer and Charles Daniels, baritones Tyler Duncan and Sumner Thompson, and bass Robert Macdonald. G.F. Handel: Israel in Egypt will also showcase Early Music Vancouver Vocal Ensemble, a double choir of 12 singers each.
