The 21st annual Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival takes place at the Salmon Arm Fairgrounds from August 16 to 18.

The festival began in 1992 as a small indoor festival and has grown to be the largest music festival in B.C.’s Interior. The Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival takes place across an 18-acre park, with multiple stages running simultaneously.

This year, headlines on the TD mainstage include Brice Cockburn, City and Colour, Daniel Lanois, Shakura S’Aida, and Selah Sue. Music genres span blues, world, alt-roots, folk, dance, and many others.

Admission is free for kids 12 and under, and the festival features many family-friendly activities, including a family fun zone, family stage, global food village, and artisan market.

Advanced tickets start are $55 to $155 and can be purchased online
