Anticipation is high for tonight's Jay Z/Justin Timberlake concert at B.C. Place

I'm sitting beside the Terry Fox statue out front of B.C. Place and am able to hear a wonderful of pop music soundclash coming from the systems set up by Sonic 104.9 FM, the Beat 94.5 FM, and Virgin 95.3 FM. (QM/FM 103.5's booth isn't blaring music and seems oddly out of place.)

They're all set up here in anticipation of the Legends of Summer Tour, which features a former 'N Syncer, Justin Timberlake, and a former .15 percent owner of the Brooklyn Nets, Jay Z.

With upwards of 400,000 expected downtown for this show and the Honda Symphony of Light, tonight is the best chance you have all year of getting puked on, stabbed, and laid all in the same evening.

Music writer Michael Mann is posting items of interest from tonight's (July 31) Jay Z/Justin Timberlake concert at B.C. Place. Check www.straight.com/music for the full review tomorrow.
