JACK Quartet performs at the Orpheum Annex (823 Seymour Street) on Saturday (March 14) at 8 p.m. A free pre-show chat starts at 7:15 p.m.

The New York-based string ensemble will perform three Canadian premieres by three innovative composers. The concert will feature music by Canada’s Taylor Brook, Austria’s Georg Friedrich Haas, and Romania’s Horatiu Rădulescu.

JACK Quartet includes the talents of Kevin McFarland on cello, Christopher Otto on violin, John Pickford Richards on viola, and Ari Streisfeld on violin.
