Justin Bieber continues his efforts to be named King Asswipe of the World

Justin Bieber has done a bang-up job of keeping himself in the headlines as he continues down the road to becoming the most despised man in pop music since Fred Durst.

This past Saturday, the Stratford, Ontario–raised shitheel was caught hanging out in Toronto, granting what’s left of his preteen fanbase a Pope-style public appearance.

Except that the Pope stands on his balcony at the Vatican and dutifully waves to his fans. Bieber, if reports on TMZ.com are true, stands there spitting giant loogies on them.

On Saturday, the American website posted incriminating-looking photos of the former adorable-child-star-turned-flaming-asshole-who-pisses-in-restaurant-janitorial-buckets. Bieber, who later argued that the pictures where “photoshopped”, is shown standing on a balcony in Hogtown, jettisoning a giant mouthful of gob over the railing where, below, his disciples are waiting.

Today, photos have been making the rounds showing the singer strutting along the streets in a Guy Fawkes mask, that presumably making it harder to people who’ve been spit on to identify him and then punch his pukey lights out.

More interestingly, he was also wearing pants that made it look like the dude totally shit himself with a giant 10-pound load.

Easily the most revolting column that Charlie Smith has ever commissioned, from easily the least intelligent shitheel the Straight has ever allowed to spread his feces on its pages.

But then, flaming assholes like Usinger often posture as "critics" when they're nothing more than bullies who hide behind their bylines. Critic my asshole.

So, so classy. "Hey, here's a kid who's flaming out!! Let's see if we can push him off the edge with childish abuse!! Yippee!!! I'm sooooo fuckin' cool I can't stand myself!!"

I only know of one 10-pound load.

I don't like Justin Bieber, but this is one of the worst bits of "journalism" I've ever read. Pathetic.

Everyone's right. He's a spoiled brat. Not much real talent there - or at least, pop success of the sort where talent means little really, came too quickly to ever really know whether any real talent was there.

But for those who resent his lucky success, not much need to heckle the kid really. Money only buys temporary happiness and unlike most of us who have our ups and downs in relative obscurity, this kid of little more than average musical potential - and that's future potential, the kid knew three chords - got plucked from his life by two entrepreneurs - an aging pop star (usher) and a college party-planner (braun) - to cash in on his youtube viral lucky success. Both Usher - a professional musician - and Braun, a record exec - were experienced enough to know that Bieber was cute, enthusiastic, and marketable to teen girls, but was no musician of any sort. Yet neither of these two adults saw any ethical problem with convincing the 13-year old kid and his young-earth fundamentalist not-too-bright mom (had the kid at 22) right from the get go that he was a musical prodigy, a rare talent to be 'mentored' by his idol, usher. They built the kid up, fucked with his head, told him he was the next Michael Jackson, to get him to perform and play the role his two pimps had in mind. And, it worked. He got some basic singing training and a lot of electronics, a fashion planner, an assortment of actual musicians and dancers, who must have loved earning an hourly wage backing a tone-deaf 13 year old, and off went the show.

Everyone made money, lots of success using the kid as a well-paid mannequin dresses, coached, and sold by adults wanting a slice of the pre-teen market. But the price of that huge successful run had to be, couldn't possibly not be, exactly what is now going to happen: this manipulated kid is going to have to discover very publicly that he isn't even remotely skilled or talented musically, never was, he was used, lied to, and instead of prepping him for that reality, they kept on suggesting he had some sort of a chance as an adult musician, to keep him performing and earning as long as possible.

I hope that somebody is honest and gets through to him. Walk away. Take the money and laugh at the whole disgusting industry. I fear though that this kid has been set up for a fall he might not survive.

Great article. Right on the money. Couldn't agree more. This worthless remnant of a Taliban circle jerk is just more evidence of the dumbing down of society! Please go away.

@ MikeMike - Thank you for a very thoughtful (and what I suspect is a very accurate) comment.

I've posted a couple of objections on this site about what I see as juvenile bullying of a "young man" who is so clearly losing control. I just don't see the need for it or the value in it ... except to pander to those readers who feel good when celebrities are taken down.

But it's one thing to kick a successful, mature adult who has lots of life experience and good support "systems" - quite another to pummel a kid who may conclude one day that his life is just too painful and pointless to continue.

I read a review this morning of Lindsay Lohan's latest film, "The Canyons". I was reminded of Justin Bieber (and others including Whitney Houston) by this comment:

"Like the abandoned theaters, Lohan is a relic of the recent past, both noble and pathetic, a leftover fragment of a boom that abruptly went south. Her character, Tara, isn’t meant to be famous – she has no job or career beyond being the live-in girlfriend of a rich degenerate – but she represents, as Lohan does, the eternal archetype of a beautiful young woman chewed up by Hollywood. She’s made too many bad decisions with too many bad people; there’ve been too many drugs, too much booze, too much sex with random strangers at 5 o’clock in the morning." -- Salon.com. Andrew O'Hehir.

The media - like The Straight - has to take some responsibility for these flaming human wrecks ... especially when writers use insults like "shitheel" and "asshole" and "pukey" and "despised".

Some, like Usinger, seem incapable of distinguishing between unacceptable personal attacks on Bieber and harsh but legitimate (maybe even constructive?) criticism of Bieber's recordings and performances.

Bullying is just dead wrong, even when the object is a spoiled rich kid, and especially when you use widely-circulated media as your weapon.

DavidH....good for you sticking up for poor little helpless Bieber. Ya, you really told that Mike what a bully he is! I bet he's feeling really ashamed of himself.

But seriously man....besides what you think of Bieber's music, the guy chose to make himself a public figure, and now he's acting like a fucking tool, so...fair game.
I'm glad he's getting called out for it.

So funny you'd bash Mike U, calling him classless for criticizing somebody who pisses in janitor's mop buckets and spits on people.

@ Mose - So, people who do something in public are "fair game" for juvenile personal attacks and disgusting insults? Interesting. That would explain the success of toilets like Twitter.

I wonder if you would be so quick to trash another musical entertainer, or an actor, or an artist. Maybe women who come forward with sexual abuse allegations? Not a chance. Bieber isn't "fair game", he's just an "easy target" for you.

But here's the deal, "Mose". No human deserves to be called an asswipe, shitheel, asshole, pukey and despised. If human celebrities deserve that, then I guess it's okay to abuse homeless people too. Or do you have a different definition of "human"?

Usinger is classless because he used his abilities as a professional writer, and his access to an entertainment publication, to publish a flagrant personal attack on an entertainer. He couldn't even be bothered to look for words, other than disgusting insults. He demonstrated that he was painfully lazy (and perhaps inebriated).

He did that because too many readers - like you - accept it. You're the audience for a bully like Usinger ... never objecting, never trying to stop it. You're the guy who stands back with your phone cam during a school fight or party rape and posts the "fun" on YouTube. You're the guy who thinks that spreading chicken shit is a good way to disperse homeless people. Sad.

Whether you like Bieber's ability or talent is so completely off point. This is about how we treat people, no matter who they are and how much money they have. You obviously missed that during your childhood and subsequent formal education.

With any luck JB will follow in Buddy Holly's footsteps... and I don't mean musically.

@DavidH
Seriously Dave?I'm the guy with the phone cam who films party rapes?? So because I agree with Mike Usinger, THAT'S who you figure me to be?
And what's all this about the homeless?
So you think because we bash Bieber, that means we are saying it's okay to abuse homeless people?
That is the most idiotic argument ever!
One thing I do agree with you on, it IS besides the point if the guy is talented or not. (Or if I like his music or not). It has nothing to do with the fact that the guy has behaved like a complete asshole in the last few months. When somebody repeatedly acts like dumbass, they should be called out out on it.
For example David, you've now made more than one ridiculous point (BieberBashing=homeless abuse etc..), that it's now time YOU get called out on it.
Here's the deal Dave...you say no human deserves to be called shitheel, but that's what you called Mike U!
As Mike said 'suck my balls'!
Wait sorry, that was too vulgar and childish right?
Okay how about 'slurp my testicles', is that more proper and formal for you?
