The Georgia Straight presents Empire of the Sun at the Orpheum

Live Nation has announced that Australian electro-pop act Empire on the Sun will perform an all-ages show at the Orpheum Theatre--with guests Alpine--on Tuesday, October 22, in support if its sophomore studio album, Ice On The Dune.

After performing at various music festivals this summer, Empire of the Sun will embark on a North American headlining tour in support of the band's follow-up to its global smash Walking On A Dream. Featuring first single "Alive", Ice On The Dune continues the adventure where Walking On A Dream left off.

Tickets for the all-ages show are priced at $29.50 and $45 (plus service charges and fees) and go on sale this Friday (August 16) at 10 a.m. on the Live Nation website.
