      Grouse Grind dangerous? Outside magazine has listed the 2.9-kilometre Grouse Grind as one of the 10 most dangerous hikes in the world, noting that three people have died on the popular North Shore trail since 1999.

      Petition opposes double transit fee  An online petition claims that SkyTrain will not accept bus transfers under the new Compass Card system, resulting in a double fee. TransLink says that this won't occur if riders pay for their bus ride using a Compass card.
