David Eby warns British Columbians' how much their favourite beers will cost after price hikes take effect

The honourable MLA for Vancouver Point Grey has spent this afternoon (March 13) distributing revised prices for beer that are scheduled to come into effect in the coming weeks.

“How much is the gov increasing the price of your fave beer on April 1 in private stores?” wrote David Eby on Twitter. “(March 20 we'll know gov store $).”

That message was followed by a flurry of current prices and their incoming, more expensive rate.

Eby noted these prices concern wholesale cold beer and wine and that we won't know the retail prices for government stores until they are introduced later this month.

Skim through the messages below and to find out how much your favourite six pack is about to cost you.

Thank you David. We're sorry too.

Good. Increasing alcohol cost means that less will be consumed. Alcohol is a neurotoxin that produces idiotic populations that do things like vote. Before the discovery of alcohol, we had no democracy because people governed themselves. Drunks govern themselves in turns, sometimes too hammered to be citizens. It's pretty sad.
